Kim has developed a strong reputation as an effective advocate and trusted advisor with a thorough understanding of the unique challenges facing educational institutions in labor-related matters. She frequently is engaged as special counsel to assist with collective bargaining, grievances and arbitrations, and disciplinary proceedings.

As an employment law attorney, Kim offers full service representation to private-sector management clients, including advisory and remedial assistance on a broad range of matters. She routinely assists with day-to-day employment law matters, such as employee handbooks and policies, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, separation agreements, disciplinary matters, safety and compliance issues, unemployment compensation, workplace investigations, and other general employment-related issues.

Kim has extensive experience representing both private and public sector clients before local, state and federal boards, including defense against discrimination complaints, unemployment compensation appeals and labor relations.

Prior to attending law school, Kim worked in elementary and secondary education as a public school teacher and also in higher education as a Dean of Students.
